Montana State University Billings Basketball Women's Head Coach Kevin WoodinKevin Woodin

Kevin has been the head women’s basketball coach at MSUB for 15 years. His teams have compiled more than 250 wins, ranking him first all-time at MSUB. He has coached 5 All-Americans and over 40 all-conference players. He is a four-time NCAA College Coach of the Year award winner.  Before going to MSUB, Kevin taught Mathematics and coached basketball seventeen years at the high school level where his teams played for 4 state championships, winning 3 of them. During his tenure at MSUB, his teams have won 3 regular season conference championships, 2 conference tournament titles, and one regional championship.  The Yellowjackets advanced to the NCAA Elite 8 in 2017-2018 and the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2013-2014.  MSUB has also been honored 5 times as the top academic women’s basketball team in the GNAC and 7 times as a WBCA top 25 academic team while Woodin has been their head coach.  He has 32+ years of basketball coaching and basketball camp coaching experience.

Alisha just completed her first year as assistant women’s basketball coach of the Yellowjackets where she was involved in daily practice/game preparation, scouting, player skill development, team strength/conditioning, recruiting, etc.  Alisha has coached numerous years of basketball camps and annually directs her own youth summer basketball camp in her hometown of Choteau, MT.  In 2017-2018, Alisha was the GNAC and West Region Player of the Year and a first-team All-American.  She currently holds more than twenty MSUB and GNAC conference basketball records.  During her college career, MSUB won two GNAC titles and finished GNAC runner up once and also won a NCAA West Regional Championship and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8 for only the second time in school history in March of 2018.  Alisha is the only player in MSUB school history to be in the top 10 in scoring (1st), rebounds (3rd), assists (9th), steals (10th) and blocks (5th).
